Day 22

Fireworks were supposed to be very beautiful,
yet this year it has lost its meaning to me,
For without you by my side,
everything just feels so pale so tasteless,

Reminiscing the days of just having you and me side by side,
all we need is just the two of us,
and even the plainest of things just make the days happy,

joy and laughter really does not need money to buy,
for the simplest things in life,
just you and me sitting side by side makes everything worthwhile,

not sure whether you will ever read this,
just want to let you know that just to be at your side,
taking care of you and your needs,
needing you to be happy and smile from the bottom of your heart,
makes everything worth it!
